“玩电脑”的英文，至今没有一个正确而权威的说法。目前的一些表达，基本都是网友自己造的。例如：
play computer （模仿“球类”名词，不加冠词。如：play basketball）
play the computer （模仿“乐器”名词，加定冠词。如：play the piano）
play computer games （这个表达语法不错。不过这是“玩电脑游戏”，跟“玩电脑”不是一样的概念。“玩电脑”的外延很大，包含着“玩电脑游戏”。）
既然如此，我提供两个表达，应该比较接近“玩电脑”的翻译了。
play on the computer （玩电脑）
play with the computer（玩电脑）
